Chandrababu literally begging BJP for alliance: Will it work?

Andhra Pradesh politics is going on in a juicy way. YSRCP president CM Jagan has already decided that the party will enter the election ring alone. He is moving ahead with the plan accordingly. But the opposition parties are not able to decide on this matter. TDP and Janasena have decided to enter the ring as allies. These two parties have said that BJP will also join them. But the BJP leadership is still not in agreement. Chandrababu and Pawan are in Delhi to settle this matter. There they are having discussions with BJP President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah.

However, it appears that the BJP is thinking of taking a cautious step, keeping in mind Chandrababu’s betrayal of BJP in the past. Moreover, as BJP did not want to meet with Chandrababu Babu, Pawan Kalyan acting as a mediator between the two, shows that BJP is rethinking the alliance. Apparently, people are angry with Pawan in this matter. It is reported that they are of the opinion Chandrababu is using Pawan to become CM. Close sources say BJP is putting some conditions for a potentially dangerous alliance with Chandrababu.

It is known that Chandrababu is begging the BJP leaders in Delhi as if this is the last election for him politically. Reportedly, BJP is holding on for 9 to 11 Lok Sabha seats and 15 to 20 Assembly seats. In the last two years, the Union Ministers have worked as in-charges of 11 Lok Sabha constituencies. BJP leaders have said that they have focused on Visakhapatnam, Araku, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Machilipatnam, Guntur, Rajampet, Tirupati and Hindupuram constituencies. According to reliable sources, they are stipulating that 9 Lok Sabha seats should be given out of these seats.

Amit Shah made it clear to Chandrababu that before joining the NDA, Chandrababu had to publicly apologize for his criticism of Modi in the past. However, according to reliable sources, Chandrababu, who is ready to do anything for the position, has agreed to the conditions set by the BJP. Clarity will prevail today or tomorrow as to whether BJP will disagree to ally with Chandrababu keeping the past in mind or form an alliance and enter the fray.
