Aware that going solo in the upcoming elections might not lead to victory, TDP chief Chandrababu is making all efforts to ally with BJP. Having already partnered with Janasena, Chandrababu is desperately trying to broker an alliance between TDP and BJP through Pawan Kalyan. However, aware of Chandrababu’s stance, the BJP is keeping TDP at a distance. Nonetheless, Chandrababu is eagerly waiting for an alliance with the BJP.

Chandrababu Agrees to Conditions

Chandrababu is using Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan as a pawn for an alliance with the BJP. TDP, which allocated 24 seats to Janasena, is reportedly ready to offer any number of seats to BJP, which has barely a one per cent vote share. Chandrababu is desperately seeking an alliance with the BJP, understanding that he cannot move forward without the BJP’s support. Recognizing this, the BJP has set a condition that TDP must allocate the seats BJP demands for an alliance. It’s known that Chandrababu, realizing he cannot proceed without the BJP’s support, is ready to concede to the BJP’s demands and has reportedly travelled to Delhi in this context.

Haunting cases

Chandrababu is being followed by one case after another. The pending cases like Skill Development, Fibernet, Capital Region, and Gachibowli land allocation are troubling Babu. Judgments from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana High Courts on these cases are expected soon. Additionally, knowing the likelihood of defeat in the upcoming elections is another problem haunting Babu. He is well aware that if Jagan comes to power again, he won’t be spared. Part of this worry has Chandrababu eager to join the BJP alliance, as political analysts speculate.
