Initial Dissent Sparks Disappointment Among TDP and Janasena Members

The first meeting held in the context of the TDP and Janasena alliance is not attracting people. Despite the efforts of TDP workers and Janasainiks who have gone through various troubles to forcibly bring people, they are not staying until the end. Uninspiring speeches, repetitive criticisms of Jagan, and unappealing decisions are dampening the meetings. Even with Pawan Kalyan’s involvement, there is no response from the public. It is understood that the reluctance of Janasena leaders to attend the meetings is due to dissatisfaction over seat-sharing arrangements.

Reports are emerging that the alliance between TDP and Janasena has faced challenges right from the outset. After the alliance was formed, the first ‘Jenda Sabha’ held in Tadepalligudem, West Godavari district was a big flop due to a lack of public attendance. Political analysts estimate that only between 40,000 to 50,000 people attended the meeting. The failure of this meeting, along with previous unsuccessful meetings held by TDP, has led to a sense of disappointment among the ranks of both TDP and Janasena.

TDP chief Chandrababu’s strategy to fight the battle with Pawan by giving the Janasena Party 24 MLA and 3 MP seats has backfired. They thought of showcasing strength by conducting meetings in Godavari districts, where the Kapu community is predominant, but people are not believing in the alliance. Regardless of what the event is called, it’s proving to be futile. Chandrababu also realized that people are not trusting him. Despite efforts to convince them by joining hands with Janasena, the lack of expected results is making it difficult for them to win in the upcoming elections, as analyzed by political observers.
