MVS: More Droughts In Chandrababu’s Regime! Yellow Media Peddling Lies!

MVS Nagireddy, the president of YSRCP’s Farmer’s Wing and AP State Agriculture Mission Vice-Chairman, said that the articles being written by ‘yellow media’ on the lack of rains in the state are false. He spoke at the YSRCP Central Office in Tadepalli. On this occasion, he dismissed the crazy articles being written by the yellow media. He said that there was drought during Chandrababu’s reign and now CM Jagan is working for the welfare of farmers.

There Were Droughts All Around In Chandrababu’s Reign

During Chandrababu’s regime, droughts continued in the state from 2014 to 2019, said MVS. Then he reminded that Babu himself declared 273 drought zones. He said that especially in Rayalaseema and Prakasam districts, the then government did not pay attention to the farmers of the drought areas. So they had to go to Bangalore, Chennai and Kerala as daily labourers. Chandrababu Naidu is the kind of person who taunted that the government did not tell those farmers to cultivate when some complained that the electricity transformers were catching fire. “Also, can Babu swear on his heart and confirm that he did not say money spent on irrigation projects will not even pay the bank interest? Did he not write that in his book himself?” he asked the yellow media.

Input Subsidy For Crops

During the five years of Chandrababu’s reign, the current cuts were more frequent during the period of least rainfall. On the other hand, CM Jagan’s government took advantage of nature’s natural resources and provided necessary inputs for seasonal crops.

AP Is Leading In Agricultural Growth Rate

Andhra Pradesh is ahead of Telangana in agricultural growth rate. Compared to the previous year, the production of grain has increased by 7.78 lakh tonnes. Also, the agricultural growth rate during Babu’s tenure was 11.7 percent in 2018-19 and 22.7 percent in 2022-23.

Do Not Trust Yellow Media’s Fake News!

Nagireddy said that CM Jagan is constantly working for the welfare of farmers. He said that so far Rs.54,000 Rythu Bharosa has been provided to each farmer and Rs.61,500 has been deposited in each farmer’s account in five years. He asked the farmers to not believe in the news circulated by the yellow media.
