No Escape For Chandrababu? Setback In ACB Court

It is known that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in the skill development case. Since then, there have been successive shocks in the courts. He has gone from the ACB court to the Supreme Court but is not getting results. On Friday, the Supreme Court adjourned Chandrababu’s petition for anticipatory bail in the Fibernet scam case. After hearing the arguments, the bench of Justice Aniruddha Bose and Bela Trivedi announced that the hearing would be adjourned to November 8. However, Chandrababu’s lawyers requested that the further investigation be postponed by one day due to personal reasons. The court said that the investigation will be conducted on November 9. The court ordered not to arrest Chandrababu until then.

Consecutive Setbacks To Babu
The ACB court today dismissed the petition filed by Chandrababu’s lawyers to increase the number of Mulakats. The petition requested that the number of Mulakats be increased to three as Chandrababu’s cases are being tried in different courts. However, the court clarified that it is not possible to increase the number of Mulakats. The court directed the AP CID to file a counter. In the meantime, when this petition came before the ACB court, the court dismissed it as counterarguments were not included in it. This petition is not eligible for a hearing, the court suggested. They added that it should be filed in proper legal format. Similarly, the ACB court postponed the call data recordings petition to the 26th of this month. This happened against the backdrop of the court’s order to the CID to file a counter on this petition, while the CID requested time until the 26th of this month. Due to this, Chandrababu is facing consecutive setbacks from the court. Political analysts say that Chandrababu will have to face more complications moving forward.
