Ongole: YSRCP MP Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy resigns

YSRCP receives major shock in AP. Ongole MP Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy Announces Resignation. Having been in politics for 33 years, he states that the name Magunta is a brand in Prakasam district. He mentioned contesting 11 times for legislative bodies, including 8 times for Parliament, 2 times for Assembly, and once for MLC position. He emphasized that his family values dignity over pride.

He mentioned that “Although it is painful to leave YSRCP, there is no other choice”. The decision was made to position his son, Magunta Raghava Reddy, in the fray for the Ongole MP seat. Jagan announced Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy as the candidate from the Ongole parliamentary constituency. In light of these developments, Magunta expressed significant dissatisfaction and announced his resignation from the party.

He mentioned that he would soon announce his future course of action after discussing it with his followers. The recent developments have deeply troubled him, and he stated that he is compelled to leave YSRCP due to unavoidable circumstances. It is speculated that Magunta might join TDP in the first week of March. Among those who resigned from YSRCP include Narsapuram MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, Narasaraopet MP Srikakulam Devarayalu, Kurnool MP Sanjeev Kumar, Machilipatnam MP Vallabhaneni Balashowry, and Rajya Sabha member MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy.
