Pawan Kalyan’s U-Turn on Volunteers! Only for Votes?

While Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan’s comments on volunteers in the past caused a stir all over AP, he once again made interesting comments on volunteers. But this time he changed his words. “The Chief Minister accuses me of saying that girls disappeared in the state because of YSRCP volunteers. I told you that your volunteers collected the data and that data went elsewhere. That’s it. I didn’t say that volunteers did all of this. I have respect for them. I did not fault the system of volunteers. We all will definitely work for the future of volunteers,” clarified Pawan Kalyan.

Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan had previously said this about AP volunteers: “Volunteers are the cause of human trafficking in the state. They mainly target single women and if they give that information to some insurgent forces, they kidnap and trap them. With this, women are vanishing.” Pawan had also alleged that central intelligence agencies gave this information to him personally. Similarly, he had said that Janasena was challenging the volunteer system in court and that when Janasena came to power, it would dismantle the volunteer system. Now, Pawan Kalyan is showering praises on the volunteers.

Pawan Kalyan: Then vs Now

It seems that Pawan thought that the party would be damaged by making allegations against the volunteers and has changed his mind today. It is understood that Pawan changed his words to control the damage due to this issue. Not only on the subject of volunteers, by changing his words depending on the occasion, Pawan is proving time and again that he has many tongues. Janasena’s political stance has been taking complete U-turns in all key issues including Amaravati as capital and Kapu reservation.
