‘Show Us The Records!’ CID’s Fresh Notices To TDP’s Party Office

The Telugu Desam Party has been covered in disrepute by the attacks of the Crime Investigation Department. The party hit rock bottom with the arrest of Chandrababu. Just as the party elders were getting tired of the CID notices, recently new CID notices have been issued to the party itself. CID sent notices seeking details of the cash deposited in the party’s account. To this extent, the CID officials have sent these notices to the TDP central office NTR Bhavan in Mangalagiri.

On this occasion, a CID constable gave the notice to Ashok Babu, the office secretary of TDP. The CID has set a deadline to provide the details of the party’s accounts by the 18th of this month. The CID said in the notices that they want details of the donations received in the party’s account in connection with the Skill Development case. They asked the party to reveal the details of the Rs.27 crores that came into their account. CID has ordered in the notices to come to their office on the 18th with complete details.

However, the TDP approached the High Court against the AP CID for harassing them. An inquiry will be held soon. Meanwhile, TDP leaders are expressing their anger on giving notices to the party office. They asked angrily, “Now that the party leaders’ turn is over, are they after the party office? Will they abolish the party office as well?” However, the party leaders have not made any official statement on these notices so far. Let’s wait and see how they will respond to these CID notices.
