Spike In Coronavirus Cases: AP On Alert,10 Rapid Kits For Each Gram Panchayat

The Andhra Pradesh government is once again alerted in the wake of the increasing number of coronavirus cases across the country. The AP government has initiated preventive measures on the instructions of the Centre. To this extent, the AP Health Department Special CS Krishna Babu said that everyone should be vigilant about coronavirus cases. He said that arrangements have been made to conduct RTPCR exams in 12 medical colleges in the state. Similarly, 10 rapid kits are being made available to each gram panchayat. So no need to worry; everyone is advised to wear a mask. He clarified that there is no shortage of ventilators and COVID medicines.

No Shortage Of COVID-19 Drugs

AP Medical Health Department has been alerted. More than 33 thousand oxygen beds and more than 6 thousand ICU beds have been made available for patients across the state. Arrangements have been made to collect samples from the patients with rapid kits and send them to RTPCR latches. If they test positive, they will be specially tested for the Covid variant at the Genome Sequencing Lab in Vijayawada. At present, it is reported that symptoms like dry cough and diarrhoea are seen in the new variant of JN.1.
