TDP Unveils Book: 85 Percent Failure in CM Jagan’s Promise Implementation

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has vented its frustration against CM Jagan for failing to fulfil promises even after four years in power, accusing the Chief Minister of misleading the public with the Navaratna initiative. In response, the TDP launched a book titled ’85 Percent Failure in the Implementation of Jagan Reddy’s Promises,’ released by senior party leaders Atchannaidu, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, and others at the party office in Mangalagiri.

Atchannaidu asserted, “CM Jagan is falsely claiming 99 percent promise fulfilment when only 109 out of the 730 promises made have been implemented. This constitutes a mere 15 percent success rate, with 85 percent remaining unfulfilled.” He challenged Jagan to explain why the manifesto, treated as equivalent to the Bible, is not being adhered to. Accusing Jagan of burdening Andhra Pradesh with debts, Atchannaidu stated that the state incurred Rs.10 lakh crores in four and a half years.

Questioning the allocation of funds, Atchannaidu asked why only Rs.2.40 lakh crores out of the purported Rs.10 lakh crores were provided to the people. He criticized Jagan for diverting funds meant for SC, ST, and BC sub-plans, accusing him of deceitfully subjecting various professions, women, employees, and teachers to exploitation. Atchannaidu challenged Jagan to admit his actions during his tenure and urged the public to read the published book. He expressed hope that those disillusioned with Jagan’s deception would propel the TDP back to power.
