TDP Upset with Pawan Kalyan’s Actions in Bhimavaram

During his visit to Bhimavaram, the behaviour of Janasena Party leader Pawan Kalyan led to widespread anger among the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) cadre across the state. Pawan Kalyan visited the home of TDP President Thota Seetharamalakshmi but did not meet with the party cadre, leading to severe dissatisfaction among the leaders. Regarding this, former minister Pithani Satyanarayana and others expressed their discontent in front of Sita Ramalakshmi, questioning, “Did we all come here without any work or purpose?”. Even though some tried to mediate in this matter, their efforts were unsuccessful.

There has been speculation for the past ten days about Pawan Kalyan’s visit to Bhimavaram. After several postponements, Pawan Kalyan finally arrived in Bhimavaram. Instead of meeting with the waiting TDP leaders, he directly went to the residence of former MLA Pulaparthi Ramanjaneyulu, causing dissatisfaction among TDP leaders. The situation does not allow us to meet Janasena’s leader right now. If we become MLAs in the future, can we meet him then? This is not the right approach, expressed TDP members in frustration. It is noteworthy that they decisively stated they won’t attend Pawan Kalyan’s visits anymore.

Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan has not disclosed from where he will be contesting. There is still no clarity on where Pawan will compete. However, the Janasena cadre is hopeful that he will clarify his intention to contest from Bhimavaram. Notably, without stating where he will be contesting from, he mentioned working together as part of the alliance with TDP and BJP, which is significant.
