The Next Chief Minister of A: Unveiling the Reasons!

Assembly elections are scheduled to coincide with the general elections in the state. As the elections draw near, major political parties are actively engaged in candidate selection. Despite various surveys indicating a potential victory for the YSRCP in the upcoming elections, a recent survey underscores that the party’s momentum remains strong. The popularity of the party president, CM Jagan, is on the rise, credited to the impactful development and welfare initiatives implemented during his tenure.

In terms of voter support, the state comprises 1.6 crore families, with over 50 lakhs belonging to the middle and upper-middle class, while 25 lakhs may abstain from voting. The majority of the remaining families fall into the lower-middle-class and poor categories, with over 90 percent actively participating in the electoral process. Notably, government schemes predominantly benefit poor and middle-class families, with significant beneficiaries in various programs. CM Jagan has already disbursed Rs. 19 thousand crores out of the Rs. 25 thousand crores previously withdrawn by the previous administration for 90 lakh savings societies.

Highlighting Jagan’s governance approach, the emphasis has been placed on the welfare of SC, ST, BC, and minority communities. Over the past four and a half years, an impressive Rs. 2.48 lakh crores were deposited through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), complemented by another Rs. 1.68 lakh crores through non-DBT channels. This cumulative effort amounts to an overall financial injection of Rs. 4.15 lakh crores by CM Jagan, garnering significant support from over 60 percent of the population.

In terms of job creation, the contrast between the previous administration and Jagan’s tenure is stark. While 34 thousand government jobs were generated in the last government period, Jagan’s tenure witnessed the creation of approximately 1.40 lakh village secretariat jobs, 52 thousand positions in RTC, and an additional 2.14 lakh jobs in various departments. Furthermore, Andhra Pradesh has consistently held the top position in ease of doing business for the last three years, attracting investments of Rs. 70 thousand crores.
