TTD Governing Body Approves Annual Budget of Rs 5141 Crore

Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy shared the decisions of the TTD Governing Body. The approved annual budget for TTD in 2024-25 is estimated at Rs 5141 crore. As part of the Dharma campaign, gold dollar Mangal Sutras will be made available to devotees at the feet of Lord Shiva. TTD announced a salary increase of Rs 15,000 for 70 employees, recognizing them as skilled labor. Additionally, salaries for 51 teachers in 6 Vedic schools under TTD will be increased from Rs 35,000 to Rs 54,000.

Moreover, 26 temples under TTD have requested the government’s appointment of facility staff for devotees in 34 temples. Approval has been granted for the construction of four lines at a cost of Rs 30 crores. Development funds include Rs 6.9 crores for Veerabhadraswamy temple in Narayanavanam and Rs 148 crores for the development of swims. An allocation of Rs 2.5 crores has been made for the Saptagiri guesthouses’ development. Development works for SMC and SSC cottages have received Rs 10 crores. However, salaries for contract employees in Annaprasadam and TTD stores have been increased alongside water works.

TTD shared that salaries for employees in Veda Patashala are increasing, and the pension for Vedic scholars has been raised from Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000. In addition to raising salaries for priests working in TTD temples, 56 posts for Vedic scholars will be appointed. TTD expressed gratitude to CM Jagan for his cooperation in allotting houses for TTD employees. Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy announced a charity conference from February 3 to 5, with 57 Peetadhipathi’s. TTD plans to consider and implement suggestions and advice from the conference as part of their charity campaign.
