What ABN RK’s sudden barrage of allegations on Modi suggests about the TDP-BJP alliance in AP

TDP chief Chandrababu and ABN MD Radhakrishna have orchestrated a new conspiracy together. It’s evident that there’s a grand strategy underlying Chandrababu’s alliance with the BJP. While cosying up to the BJP under the guise of an alliance, Chandrababu has concurrently devised plans to diminish the party’s influence in the state. ABN MD Vemuri Radhakrishna (RK) is orchestrating the narrative and screenplay for this scheme. RK’s recent criticism of Modi underscores this agenda clearly.

The real story behind RK’s harsh criticism of Modi?

Radhakrishna’s recent article titled ‘Modi Vetaku Vilavila!’ in ‘ABN’ straightforwardly critiqued Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. He accused Modi of tarnishing the reputation of opposition leaders and parties, citing instances such as the arrest of Delhi CM Kejriwal, the recent arrest of MLC Kavitha, daughter of the BRS chief, who has national ambitions, and the Enforcement Directorate’s raids in West Bengal, among other issues. Radhakrishna drew parallels with the situation faced by Chandrababu in the 2019 elections, highlighting his loss of power and the ascendancy of Jagan.

Furthermore, RK wrote that Prime Minister Modi has self-servingly sent officials from institutions such as IT, CBI, and ED to raid prominent leaders in regional parties, resulting in many leaders becoming entangled in legal proceedings. He criticized that Modi is chasing his political adversaries to comply with his wishes, likening it to the scene from the movie “Mayabazaar” where Ghatotkacha’s army relentlessly pursued his opponents. He asserted that only those seeking Modi’s refuge are able to endure in Indian politics. He mentioned that the UPA government lost power in 2014 due to the anti-corruption movement initiated in Delhi in 2011 with Anna Hazare. RK added that Narendra Modi, then Chief Minister of Gujarat, transitioned to national politics and assumed the role of Prime Minister by leveraging the outcomes of the anti-corruption movement in his favour. Radhakrishna opined that leaders like Kejriwal and those from other regional parties who opposed the Congress were unaware that they were inadvertently empowering a political behemoth.

Is Babu’s aim to sabotage BJP?

Upon closer examination of these developments, one thing becomes abundantly clear: ‘ABN’ Radhakrishna who shares an inseparable bond with Chandrababu from time immemorial, now criticising BJP, which is already in alliance with TDP, cannot be written off as a coincidence. RK’s articles are fostering a negative sentiment among the state’s populace towards BJP. Concurrently, Chandrababu is urging TDP leaders to rally behind BJP, essentially seeking political protection through his alliance with BJP. He seems to be looking to somehow get over this election and watch as BJP suffers the consequences of his master plan. Political analysts are emphasizing that it is now up to the BJP cadre in the state and centre to grasp this reality sooner rather than later.
