YSRCP targets Kapu vote for AP Polls: Who is Mudragada with?

All political parties in Andhra Pradesh are working towards winning the upcoming elections. On the one hand, YSRCP’s target is ‘Why Not 175!’, on the other TDP-Janasena alliance is busy preparing the winners in each constituency. To this extent, it is reported that the ruling party YSRCP is making changes in about 50 sitting positions where the work done is not proper and after counting the votes on the basis of the social groups. As part of this, it seems that CM Jagan is opening another strategy with the aim of getting Kapu votes.

Mudragada into YSRCP!

It seems that the party has taken a crucial decision in the wake of the huge Kapu votes that came to the YSRCP in the last election. As part of this, people think that efforts are being made to bring Vangaveeti Radha and Mudragada Padmanabham, who are important members of the Kapu community, into the party. People think that the TDP government has insulted and blamed Chiranjeevi’s family members along with Mudragada in the past. In this background, political analysts say that YSRCP is making plans to turn the Kapu vote bank towards them. With this, there are reports that YSRCP is trying to give the Kakinada ticket to Padmanabham or his younger son Giribabu and the Vijayawada Central ticket to Vangaveeti Radha.

Will Kapu votes have an effect?

The TDP-Janasena alliance has been finalised in AP. The allotment of seats will be clarified soon. But as there is a campaign that most of the Kapu social class is against the government, there will be a chance that this will benefit TDP and Janasena. Similarly, there are whispers that more Kapu supporters are getting ready to follow Pawan Kalyan’s lead. If this is true, the YSRCP leadership predicts that there will be a strong impact in the joint Godavari district as well as the joint Krishna and Guntur districts. However, in a recent interview, it is known that TDP leader Nara Lokesh reacted strongly on the topic of the CM post. Kapu votes for TDP and Janasena will be impacted by these comments. On the other hand, the inside talk is that the Kapu community is dissatisfied and does not support the Janasena because Pawan is not alone but allied with some party or the other. With this, it has become a topic of discussion in the Kapu social circles about who to support in the next election.
