Arvind Kejriwal refuses to attend ED enquiry citing judicial procedure

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is plagued by the liquor scam as the Lok Sabha elections are approaching. The ED officials once again sent notices to Arvind Kejriwal to attend the inquiry regarding this case. He refused to be investigated for the seventh time. He said that he could not attend the hearing as the matter was in court. Aam Aadmi Party has written a letter to the ED officials to this effect. Moreover, the ED has been advised to respect the legal process. Instead of issuing repeated summons to Kejriwal, he asked them to wait for the court’s decision and that it is inappropriate to send summons to the Chief Minister several times.
