CM Nitish Kumar Allocates Departments to Ministers

CM Nitish Kumar, who has formed a new government with the BJP in the state of Bihar, has allocated departments to the ministers in the new cabinet. Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary was given the departments of Finance, Health, and Sports, while the other Deputy CM, Vijay Sinha, was allocated Agriculture, Roads and Buildings, and Minor Water Resources departments. CM Nitish Kumar retained the crucial Home Department under his purview. Along with them, six other ministers – Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Vijendra Prasad Yadav, Dr. Prem Kumar, Shravan Kumar, Santosh Kumar Suman, and Sumit Kumar Singh – were also assigned various departments by CM Nitish Kumar.

In the 2020 Assembly elections, Nitish Kumar allied with the BJP, leading to the formation of a JDU-BJP coalition government in Bihar. Due to disagreements with the BJP, Nitish Kumar formed a new government in collaboration with the Congress and RJD within a year. As part of this alliance, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav was given the position of Deputy CM, and Nitish Kumar was sworn in again as the Chief Minister.

due to recent differences with the RJD, the RJD-JDU government was dissolved, and Nitish Kumar has now formed a new government in alliance with the BJP again. In Bihar, prominent BJP leaders Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha have been appointed as Deputy Chief Ministers.
