Negotiations have failed four times

Demanding support prices for crops as recommended by the M.S. Swaminathan Committee and legalizing the support prices, around 200 farmer communities from Punjab, Haryana, UP, and other states have been protesting under the banner of ‘Delhi Chalo’ since February 13, under the auspices of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha. Despite three rounds of talks with Union Ministers on February 8, 12, and 15, negotiations failed. Finally, on the night of the 18th (Sunday), a fourth round of talks was held, but they also failed. As a result, the farmers’ unions are once again ready to protest.
