Nitish Kumar Sworn in as Bihar Chief Minister for the Ninth Time

JDU Chief Nitish Kumar, having aligned with the NDA, took the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the ninth consecutive time. The oath was administered by Governor Rajendra at Raj Bhavan. Alongside the Chief Minister, BJP’s Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Sinha, and Prem Kumar also took the oath. From JDU, ministers Bijendra Prasad and Vijay Kumar Chaudhary were sworn in, with Samrat Chaudhary taking the oath as Deputy CM. BJP National President JP Nadda graced the event with his presence.

Bringing an end to the recent political turmoil in the state, Nitish Kumar’s demand for the dissolution of the grand coalition government was met. At 11 am, Nitish Kumar urged the Governor to dissolve the grand coalition and grant permission to form the NDA government under the leadership of BJP and JDU. The Governor approved the request after receiving the support letter from the MLAs, marking the conclusion of the political uncertainty.
