Parliament Surprise: MPs Stunned by Unexpected Event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a meal with Members of Parliament (MPs) at the Parliament Canteen, creating a surprise among the MPs. On Friday, the Prime Minister extended an invitation to a total of eight MPs from various political parties to join him for lunch at the canteen. Reports indicate that the MPs were pleasantly surprised when Prime Minister Modi invited them with a light-hearted remark, saying, “I will not punish you, come join me.” The gesture of dining together with MPs across party lines was an unexpected and noteworthy occurrence.

The vegetarian meal included items such as rice, dal, khichdi, and til ka laddoo. Among those who had lunch with the Prime Minister were TDP’s Rammohan Naidu, BSP’s Ritesh Pandey, BJP’s Ladakh MP Jamyang Namgyal, Central Minister L Murugan, and BJD’s Sasmit Patra.

Prime Minister Modi interacted with the MPs for about 45 minutes. MPs asked about the PM’s lifestyle and schedule. An MP who participated in the lunch said it was extraordinary and a good thing to meet the Prime Minister in the MPs’ canteen. During the lunch meeting, the Prime Minister discussed visiting Pakistan to meet Nawaz Sharif, foreign tours, and topics such as the Statue of Unity. The Prime Minister explained to the MPs about the largest Hindu temple being constructed in Abu Dhabi. According to the information, MPs received the news about lunch with the Prime Minister in the afternoon.
