PM Modi Congratulates Advani on Bharat Ratna
Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a key announcement. On Saturday, it was announced that BJP veteran and former Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani will be awarded the Bharat Ratna. Expressing joy over L.K. Advani receiving the Bharat Ratna, congratulations were extended through a tweet on this occasion. Modi, expressing his happiness that Advani is receiving this honor, stated that Advani’s role in the country’s development has been crucial.

He praised L.K. Advani as a politician who rose from the grassroots level to become the Deputy Prime Minister. He recalled how Advani led the BJP in the 1990s and also undertook a Rath Yatra for the Ayodhya Ram Temple during that time. During the tenure of the late Prime Minister Vajpayee, from 2002 to 2004, Advani served as the 7th Deputy Prime Minister of India. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
