Rahul Gandhi lends his support to the ongoing Wrestlers’ Protest
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stood by Indian wrestlers in the ongoing feud between the centre and the athletes. He expressed his support and said that he met the wrestlers in Chhara village of Bahadurgarh, Haryana. On this occasion, Bajrang Punia told Rahul about their problems. After consoling them, Rahul said that the whole country would support the wrestlers.

Brij Bhushan’s close friend Sanjay Singh has been selected as the new president of the Wrestling Federation of India. Expressing grief over Sanjay’s election, Sakshi Malik has already announced her retirement. Bajrang Punia and Virender Yadav have returned their Padma Shri awards. Vinesh Phogat announced that he will return his Khel Ratna and Arjuna awards. Rahul Gandhi gave them his support at this moment.
