The issue of red dairy was first mentioned in Rajasthan. The subject of the diary was brought to light by the state minister Rajendra Gudha. He has put CM Ashok Gehlot’s government in a tight spot by saying that there are corruption-related matters in that diary. This diary topic immediately created a stir in Rajasthan. Dharmendra Rathore, Chairman of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation was the one who has jotted down his words in that diary. There is a reference to irregularities in the tourism industry of Rajasthan in that diary. According to the diary, about Rs.2.5 crores were given to the MLAs from the revenue illegally. Minister Rajendra Gudha revealed the names of CM Ashok Gahlot and his son Vaibhav Gahlot are also in that diary.

The Dispute

In West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, political parties have mentioned the issue of ‘Red Dairy’. In AP, TDP leaders criticized the corruption of CM Jagan (YS Jagan) and referred to it as ‘AP Red Diary’. The party’s national general secretary Nara Lokesh held a red diary and addressed several public meetings. He said that Jagan has mentioned all matters related to corruption in this ‘Red Diary’. He warned that once they come to power, they will punish Jagan. Many political parties have said that CM KCR is also involved in corruption in Telangana. TPCC president Revanth Reddy expressed his anger at the behaviour of the Telangana police, “All the names of the officers are in the red diary. He warned that when we come to power, we take them on.” This way, the issue of the Red Diary is causing a stir in politics.
