Sudarshan Setu: Modi Inaugurates the Country’s Largest Cable Bridge

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the country’s largest cable bridge, Sudarshan Setu, in Dwarka, Gujarat. The foundation stone for the construction of this bridge was laid by Prime Minister Modi in 2017.

The bridge connecting Bet Dwarka Island to Okha Port was constructed at a cost of Rs. 979 crores. This four-lane bridge has a length of 2.3 kilometres and a width of 27.20 meters. Named Sudarshan Setu, it features a unique design with footpaths adorned with verses from the Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna on both sides. Previously known as the Signature Bridge, it was renamed to Sudarshan Setu. Bet Dwarka is an island near Okha Port, situated approximately 30 kilometres from the town of Dwarka. It houses the renowned Dwarkadhish Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna.

Today, Prime Minister Modi is set to participate in several inauguration events. This afternoon, he will inaugurate the first AIIMS hospital in Rajkot, Gujarat. Following that, AIIMS hospitals in Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal will also be inaugurated virtually by him. The government has constructed these five super-speciality hospitals at a total cost of Rs. 6300 crores. Moreover, Prime Minister Modi will participate in a roadshow in Gujarat this evening.

  1. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the structure of your website?
    Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.

    But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could
    connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of
    text for only having one or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out
