Independent Contest

During a meeting with key leaders, Kishan Reddy announced the decision to part ways with Janasena and contest the Lok Sabha elections independently. In the recent assembly elections, BJP had allied with Janasena, allotting eight seats to the party. However, none of the Janasena candidates secured enough votes even to retain their deposits in a single constituency. In light of this, the BJP concluded that the alliance was ineffective. Reddy mentioned that the newly elected eight BJP MLAs would tour all joint districts in the state, expressing confidence in the formation of the Narendra Modi government for the third consecutive term in the country.
