Cold Alert: Officials warn about huge drop in Temperatures in Telangana

Cold weather has taken over Telangana. People are unwilling to come out of their homes. They are shivering with cold winds across the state. It has become impossible to step outside without a sweater. Temperatures are dropping significantly due to changes in weather and cold winds. Temperatures are falling especially in agency areas. Komaram Bheem Asifabad District’s Sirpur (U) is shivering with cold. The lowest temperatures in the state have been recorded here. A minimum temperature of 8.9 degrees Celsius was recorded Monday night. Behind that, 9.1 degrees in Sangareddy and 11.2 degrees in Adilabad were recorded as the next coldest parts in Telangana so far. Ranga Reddy, Medak, Siddipet, Mancherial, Jagtial and Nirmal districts also recorded temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius.

In this scenario, the weather department officials have warned that the night temperatures may consistently drop below 15 degrees Celsius for the next three days. Officials said flights from Delhi are running late due to smog. Officials advised that people should not come out unless necessary. Children and the elderly should be taken care of.
