Congress ‘Abhaya Hastham’ Manifesto Released.. Targets All Sections

As part of the Telangana elections, the Congress party has released its manifesto. BRS party has already announced its election manifesto as well. Earlier, Congress also gave assurances in the name of 6 guarantees in the Warangal Sabha. These have already gone to the public and are bringing positive talk about the party. The latest full manifesto was released on Friday at Gandhi Bhavan by the hands of AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge.

It was declared as Abhaya Hastham Manifesto containing 42 pages with about 62 points. Land, students, DSC, job vacancies, PRC announcement and many other issues related to journalists were mentioned. TPCC President Revanth Reddy stated that this manifesto has been created to benefit all communities. He revealed that the essential elements of the people of Telangana have been included in it. He called upon the people to support the Congress party and bring it to power in this election. He promised that he would implement the six guarantees as soon as he came to power and fulfil what was said in the manifesto.

CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka revealed that the manifesto is for the benefit of Dalits and tribals. He said that the assets of the state should be distributed among the people. The poor should be provided with rights, he added. The party leaders and workers have been called to work hard to take this manifesto to every home.

Assurances in the Abhaya Hastham Manifesto:

  • The family members of Telangana martyrs will be given ₹25,000 pension
  • One of the family members to get a government job
  • Lifting the cases against the activists and 250 yards of residential land to each
  • Farmers to get ₹2 lakh crop loan waiver in one instalment
  • Farmers to get ₹3 lakh interest-free loans
  • Bhoomatha‘ portal replaces ‘Dharani’
  • Filling of 2 lakh jobs through annual job calendar
  • For girl’s marriage, aid of ₹1 lakh plus gold
  • 3 new SC Corporations after SC classification
  • Reservations based on population after BC Caste Census
  • BC Sub-Plan. Special Welfare Board for EBCs
  • 5 percent reservation along with education and job opportunities for nomadic tribes
  • Under ‘Bangaru Thalli‘ scheme, financial assistance for every girl child born
  • Disability Pension ₹6,000 increase, free RTC travel
  • More clarity on 24 free electricity for agriculture
  • Development funds of panchayats in Sarpanchs’ accounts
  • Establishment of Welfare Board for Gulf Workers
  • The family of the deceased Gulf labourer is to receive ₹5 lakhs
