Contrary to Rumors, Foxconn Confirms Industry Establishment in Telangana

Contrary to rumours, reports suggesting the relocation of companies that were established during the previous BRS government have proven to be inaccurate. Recent claims about the iconic organization Foxconn moving to another state have been refuted, as it is confirmed that the company is set to commence its operations within Telangana. Representatives from Foxconn held discussions with the Chief Minister and the IT Minister, explicitly stating their intention to establish their industry in Telangana. The state government expressed satisfaction with this announcement and assured that all necessary arrangements would be made to facilitate the setup of the industry.

A delegation led by Han Hai Precision Industries representative V Lee met with the Chief Minister, IT Minister Sridhar Babu, Government Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, and Chief Secretary of the IT Department Jayesh Ranjan at the Secretariat in Hyderabad on Tuesday. During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the government’s dedication to fostering industrial development in the state, particularly in the electronics sector. He pledged to streamline the process of obtaining permits for establishing industries, ensuring ease of access, and providing the required infrastructure.

Commitment to Cooperation

CM Revanth said, “Our recently formed government is committed to safeguarding the aspirations of the people, and we adopt a friendly approach towards all communities. Similarly, we pledge complete support and cooperation to industrialists. Alongside facilitating the necessary permits for industry development, we will also ensure the provision of essential infrastructure.” The Chief Minister affirmed commitment to taking all necessary measures to position the state as an industrial leader in the country.
