EC Notice To KCR: Warns Him To Speak Carefully Next Time

The Election Commission has advised the BRS Party chief and CM KCR to be careful with his words during the election campaigns. It warned not to make provocative speeches. In this regard, it has issued a notice to CM KCR on Friday. The notice said that action would be taken if provocative speeches were made again.

It is known that on the 30th of September, there was an attack on MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, BRS candidate of Dubbaka. On the same day, CM KCR responded to this incident in Banswada of Nizamabad District and made strong comments. He expressed his anger with words like ‘Is it hard for us (BRS) to find knives like you?’ Responding to this speech, Congress youth’s NSUI State President Balmoor Venkat condemned these words. He complained to EC against CM KCR for making a violent speech.

Chief Secretary of the Central Election Commission (EC) Avinash Kumar after examining his complaint issued a notice to CM KCR. “The speech was made in a manner which could increase discord between people of different castes and communities. This comes under the violation of the Model Code of Conduct. No more such provocative speeches should be made,” the EC said in the order.
