Eight BJP Leaders Take Oath: Raja Singh Speaks His Mind

Telangana BJP MLAs took oath in the assembly. Eight BJP leaders took oath in the presence of Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi announced that they would not attend the meeting as the pro-tem speaker and boycotted the meeting. BJP MLAs did not take oath as Akbaruddin was given a chance instead of seniors. Raja Singh decided not to take oath under the leadership of a man who said he would kill Hindus if he waited for 15 minutes. Finally, today, Gaddam Prasad Kumar was selected as a Speaker.

Among them, Nirmal MLA Eleti Maheshwar Reddy, Nizamabad Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta, Kamareddy MLA Katipalli Venkata Ramana Reddy, Sirpur MLA Palwai Harish Babu, Adilabad MLA Payal Shankar, Muthol MLA Rama Rao Patel, Armor MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy, Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh took oath.

Recently, other MLAs took oath in the presence of Protem Speaker Akbaruddin Owaisi. Also, ministers Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, KTR from BRS, Kadiam Srihari, Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, Padmarao, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and Padi Kaushik Reddy were sworn in as Protem Speaker.

Raja Singh’s Interesting Comments

Later, Raja Singh said, “We were told to take oath in front of Akbaruddin and we are bound by that word.” BJP MLAs said that they took oath in front of Speaker Gaddam Prasad. Raja Singh said that Congress came to power with six guarantees, but KCR has left the state in debt. He questioned how the Congress party would implement the given guarantees.’ Will the funds for the six guarantees be brought from the Congress party office or Italy?’ He said that the promises given by the Congress party should be implemented immediately. He warned that war had started against the Congress government.

BJP MLA Raja Singh expressed his opinion that he will contest as an MP if the party orders him. “BJP party decides who will be the floor leader of the assembly. Those responsibilities will be given to a good person. No matter who the floor leader is, eight people will work together. I did not say that I would overthrow the government,” said Raja Singh. He made Key comments that Congress, MIM and BRS are working as one party.
