Former BRS MLA Guvvala Balaraju Arrested, BRS Leaders Protest

Police have arrested BRS leader and former Atchampet MLA Guvvala Balaraju. Police detained him at Veldanda on Monday while he was going to Achampet in the Nagarkurnool district for the first time after his defeat in the assembly elections. Earlier, it was stated on social media that he was attending the press meet in Atchampet and later would attend an unveiling program at a temple in Ambatipalli village. Conflict arose when the leaders of the Congress party decided to stop his visit.

Protest Of BRS leaders

Former MLA Guvvala Balaraju left for Achampeta via Veldanda. It seems that the police arrested him and took him to the police station on the basis of prior information that there was a risk of attacks. BRS leaders came to know about the matter and rushed to Veldanda Police Station and demanded his release. After that, they protested on the road.
