Gruha Jyothi: Free Electricity Starts Today, Zero Bills will be Issued

Starting today, the Congress government will fulfil its election promise by launching the Grihajyoti scheme, offering free electricity for up to 200 units per month. Electricity bills will be issued beginning today, and those eligible can apply through public administration applications. Meter readings will determine eligibility, and consumers using less than 200 units will receive zero bills. The scheme is open to individuals with a white ration card.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his ministers at the secretariat recently introduced the household gas cylinder scheme worth Rs. 500, along with the Grihajyoti scheme. These two initiatives mark the beginning of fulfilling the promises made by the Congress government within just two days of its formation.
