Police Seize Five Crore Cash In Hyderabad: Investigation In Process

During the assembly elections, the police are doing extensive checking. In this order, large bags of money are being seized. Recently, Rs.5 crore cash was seized by police officials. Money suitcases were found in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

On Thursday, the police conducted inspections in the Gachibowli police station area of Hyderabad. While checking on the CHIREC International School route from Botanical Park, two suitcases were seen suspiciously in a car. When they were opened, bundles of Rs.500 notes were found. Those two suitcases were seized and taken to the police station. Police are investigating the matter. It is reported that the money belongs to a businessman from Hyderabad. There is a ban on moving large sums of money exceeding Rs.50,000 during elections.

A large amount of money was seized in Telangana during the assembly elections. It is known that most of the cases were caught in Telangana, while checks were conducted in five states where the elections are taking place. As the time for polling is approaching, the police have intensified the checks.
