Rain Alert Issued as Southwest Monsoon Expands in Telangana

The Southwest Monsoon is expanding rapidly in Telangana. As a result, it has been raining in Hyderabad for the last three days. The Meteorological Department of Hyderabad has also announced a Yellow Alert for Telangana. Weather department officials said there are chances of heavy rains in many places in Telangana as well as Coastal Andhra and Karnataka for the next four days. They advised the people in low-lying areas to be alert.

GHMC officials have been alerted about the possibility of heavy rains in Hyderabad as well. GHMC officials have announced toll-free numbers for residents of Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Medchal and Vikarabad districts to call for help in case of any problems.
