‘Stop False Stories On Uninterrupted Power..’ Kavitha Takes On Kishan Reddy

As assembly elections in Telangana are closing in, a war of words has erupted between BRS and BJP leaders. BRS MLC Kavitha made scathing remarks against Union Minister and BJP State President Kishan Reddy. She advised him to stop telling fake stories about the electricity supply in the state during elections. Meanwhile, Kishan Reddy recently posted on the X platform saying that Prime Minister Modi’s government will provide uninterrupted power supply to the state with the establishment of an NTPC power station in Peddapally. Recently, MLC Kavitha responded to this post.

NTPC Is Only 4 Percent

She said that while the peak demand for electricity in Telangana is 15,500 MW, only 680 MW is being supplied to Telangana through NTPC. Accordingly, she clarified that only 4 percent of the electricity consumed in Telangana comes from NTPC. But the BJP must refrain from saying that only the BJP government will provide continuous electricity. She pointed out that the people of the state know everything about which government provides 24-hour electricity, and if you spread such lies, your party will suffer. She said that with the efforts of CM KCR, electricity problems have been solved in Telangana today. Similarly, she said on X platform that CM KCR deserves the credit for bringing the state from a power deficit to a power surplus in a very short time.
