Telangana Elections: Will Fulfil All Promises, Here Is The ‘Bond’

Bond politics has started again in Telangana. Bond paper has come to the fore in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. It is known that Dharmapuri Arvind, who contested from Nizamabad Lok Sabha on behalf of BJP, wrote a bond paper on the ‘yellow board’. He created a sensation by writing a Bond Paper saying that he would take the Turmeric Board as soon as he won as an MP. Again, such incidents are happening in the current assembly elections as some are again writing bond papers. They are writing bond documents to people, asking them to believe that they will fulfil their promises.

Congress candidate Jeevan Reddy, contesting from Jagitya and Khanapur candidate Vedma Bojju Patel, have written bond papers. Jeevan Reddy said that the promises made by the party will be fulfilled when it comes to power. Bojju Patel, who is contesting from Khanapur in Nirmal District, took oath as the witness of Nagoba, the deity of tribals. Bojju Patel performed pooja at Nagoba Temple in Keslapur village of Indravelli Mandal on Monday. Later, he gave bond papers to temple presidents Mesram Venkat Rao, Mesram Patel, and Chinnu Patel.

Bond said that he will take responsibility for implementing the six guarantee schemes given by the party. The problems identified in the Khanapur constituency will be resolved. Constituency will be developed without committing corruption. Bojju Patel said in the bond paper that along with solving the problems of the government lands in the agency area, they will get Pahani for the lands cultivated by the tribal leaders. Writing bond papers like this has become attractive. Candidates said that they would fulfil their promises as soon as they won. But even if a bond is written, is it binding?
