Telangana Municipal Commissioner Transfers Ahead of Elections

As the Parliament elections are approaching, the transfers in the state are gaining momentum. Telangana government issues orders for the transfer of 40 municipal commissioners. Today another 74 municipal commissioners were transferred. Following the directives of the Election Commission of India, the Municipal Administration Department issued orders for transfers. Additionally, on Monday, the government transferred 105 Panchayat Raj staff members, in line with the ongoing administrative reshuffles ahead of the elections.

The Telangana government has also transferred 14 Excise Superintendents, two Deputy Commissioners, and nine Assistant Commissioners in the Excise Department as part of the ongoing reshuffle ahead of the parliamentary elections. The Telangana government has already transferred a large number of Tehsildars across the state, involving 132 Tehsildars and 32 Deputy Collectors (RDOs), as part of a widespread administrative reshuffle ahead of the parliamentary elections.
