During discussions with officials, the Chief Minister addressed the need to reconsider the requirement for a white ration card as a prerequisite for Arogyasri benefits. He expressed concern that this requirement has led to an increase in the number of people obtaining a white ration card solely for Arogyasri benefits. The officials were instructed to explore options for establishing nursing, physiotherapy, and paramedical colleges alongside existing medical colleges, and to formulate a unified policy for this purpose.
