We did not tell people not to visit Ayodhya: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar countered BJP MP Bandi Sanjay’s comments that Congress MLAs will sell out to KCR after the parliamentary elections. He said that it has become clear, once again, that BRS and BJP are one and the same, with Bandi Sanjay’s comments. He said that BRS will split into two after the Parliament elections. He asked, “Where did Sanjay, who sold Mangala sutras, get the money to make cutouts with lakhs of rupees.” Ponnam criticized that the funds brought by Bandi Sanjay to the Karimnagar Parliament were zero.

He said that according to the Shastras, Pandits will do Prana Pratishtha. “How is it that before construction of the Ayodhya temple is even completed, the temple is being inaugurated against the traditions?” he asked. He clarified that the Congress party has not said at all that people should not go to the inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. “BJP is marketing in the name of Ram. They are distributing ration rice in the name of Lord Ram’s holy rice. Did Bandi Sanjay as MP bring any funds for Kondagattu and Vemulawada?” He challenged the BJP to clarify.
