Wine Shops In Telangana To Remain Closed Tomorrow: EC

The Telangana Assembly election vote-counting process will take place on December 3. To this extent, the fate of the candidates standing in the election will be known. In this context, the Election Commission has taken a key decision. The EC has issued orders to close wine shops across the state including in Hyderabad. Liquor shops, bars and clubs in the state have been ordered to remain closed from 6 AM on Sunday to 6 AM on Monday. They warned they would take strict action if anyone violates the rules.

Three-step Security

Arrangements for counting of Telangana Assembly elections have been completed. Counting of votes will be done at 49 places across the state. It will start at 8 AM on Sunday. Meanwhile, the EC has made special three-tier security arrangements for the vote-counting procedure being held in the Hyderabad district. They said that while there are 15 counting centres in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, section 144 will be in force here. Five or more people should not gather together. They ordered the people not to hold flags, sticks, explosives, gatherings and meetings within a kilometre of the counting centres. The EC has also clarified that addressing the public using microphones, meetings and song and dance should not be held. Similarly, massive security arrangements have been made to prevent any untoward incidents from happening anywhere in the state.
