Ayodhya Ram Mandir: South Central Railway’s Special Train from Telangana

Preparations for the construction of a temple dedicated to Lord Rama in Ayodhya are underway with grandeur, leading up to the Prana Pratishtha scheduled for the 22nd of this month. Anticipating a significant influx of devotees, particularly from Telangana, the South Central Railway has organized a special train to facilitate the pilgrimage to Ayodhya. The direct route from Kachiguda to Ayodhya has brought joy to devotees, who express gratitude for this initiative.

For those planning to visit the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya from Hyderabad, a dedicated train service is available every Friday. The Yeswantpur-Gorakhpur (15024) Express departs from Yeswantpur every Thursday at 11.40 PM, arriving at Kachiguda Railway Station at 10.40 AM on Friday. Departing from Kachiguda at 10.50 AM, the train reaches Ayodhya Dham railway station at 4.25 PM on Saturday, with onward travel to Gorakhpur. The train makes stops at various stations, including Kazipet, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Kanpur, and Lucknow.

Assuring passengers, the South Central Railway has clarified that the special train will maintain standard fares, offering a variety of seating options. In response to potential high demand, railway officials also express their intention to introduce an additional train on the same route. The announcement of this special train has spurred individuals to finalize their travel plans for the pilgrimage to Ayodhya.
