Charminar Express Derailment Incident: Swift Response Prevents Major Accident

Another train encountered a derailment incident, the Charminar Express, arriving in Hyderabad in the early morning, derailed and collided with a wall upon entering the station. Fortunately, the incident resulted in some overturned bogies, but a major disaster was averted due to the train’s slow speed. Nonetheless, a few passengers sustained injuries and were promptly taken to the hospital by the railway police for treatment.

The Charminar Super Fast Express embarked on its journey from Chennai to Hyderabad on Tuesday night, reaching Nampally railway station in the early hours of Wednesday. Unfortunately, the derailment occurred as the train approached the station, making contact with an adjacent wall. Despite the collision, the train’s reduced speed played a crucial role in preventing a more severe accident. The railway police acted swiftly, transporting the injured passengers to the hospital for necessary medical attention.
