Asian Games 2023: Another Gold In India’s Account
Indian shooters are enjoying the Asian Games 2023, which are underway in China. Another gold medal has been added to India’s account in the 10 meter air pistol team event today. Indian shooters Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema, and Shiva Narwal won the gold medal in the men’s 10 meter air pistol team event. With this, the sixth gold medal has been added to India’s account. In this event, four gold medals were won in the air pistol event itself.
The Indian trio topped the team event with 1734.50 points, and the Chinese team won silver with 1733.62 points. Meanwhile, Sarabjot Singh and Arjun Singh have qualified for the top 8 in the same category. Sarabjyot is in 5th place, while Arjun is in 8th place. Earlier, Wushu star player Roshibina Devi won a bronze medal in the women’s 60 kg category. With this, India is now in the fifth position in the Asian Games medal table with a total of 24 medals. There are 6 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals.
