On this occasion, Revanth Reddy criticized former CM KCR. He criticized KCR for embezzling funds and leaving the Bhima, Nettampadu, Koilsagar, Kalwakurthi, SLBC, Devadula, and Pranahita-Chevella projects incomplete, despite spending Rs. 2 lakh crores. He expressed outrage that not a single acre was irrigated even after spending Rs. 27,000 crores on Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation. He also highlighted that while AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy is managing to transfer 12 TMCs of water daily, KCR has just been watching.

He reminded back in 2014, he had secured the GO 69 for the Narayanpet-Kodangal lift irrigation, ensuring irrigation water for 100,000 acres with 7.10 TMCs.
