Coronavirus New Variant Creates Panic: Health Minister Mansukh To Conduct A Review

Coronavirus created panic among the people with the new variant JN.1. Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will conduct a review through video conference today as the cases of Covid virus are increasing day by day. Health Ministers of all states, as well as Union Territories officials, will participate in it. Health facilities provided and measures to prevent infections will be mainly discussed in this review meeting.

Meanwhile, the highest number of coronavirus cases are registered in the state of Kerala. Officials said that 115 new coronavirus cases have been reported in Kerala in the last 24 hours. While the number of patients in Kerala has reached 1,749, COVID-19 cases are also coming to light in Maharashtra, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, and Telangana.

New variants of JN.1 cases are found in various states. 8 in Maharashtra, 18 cases in Goa and 4 cases are registered in Telangana. Also, the number of people infected with coronavirus in the country has reached 1970. In the last 9 days, the number of people infected with the virus has doubled. Today, 142 new COVID cases have been registered in the country. Kerala State Health Minister Veena George has announced that people do not need to worry; she advised that people with symptoms should be tested immediately. She also assured that the state government is fully prepared for the infectious diseases.
