IMD Warns of Summer Weather Risks in Telugu States

The Indian Meteorological Department announced on Friday that temperatures are expected to rise significantly this year due to ongoing El Nino conditions. Higher-than-normal temperatures, along with increased hailstorms, are anticipated in many states, including those in the Telugu region. The Director General of IMD noted that from March to May, maximum and minimum temperatures may surpass usual levels. The severe conditions in the equatorial Pacific Ocean are projected to persist until the end of summer. Consequently, with hot surface temperatures in the Pacific and prevailing winds, the country can expect intense sunlight for three months from March to May.
