Lala Lajpat Rai’s Birth Anniversary

Lala Lajpat Rai (28 January 1865 – 17 November 1928) was born in Dhudike village of Moga district, Punjab. He was immortalized as one of the heroes who fought against British rule in India’s freedom struggle. He was given the title Punjab Kesari by Indians. He is the founder of Punjab National Bank and Lakshmi Insurance Companies.

Pakistan name proposal

On January 28, 1933, a separate Muslim nation was proposed to be named Pakistan. Pakistan means pure land. Pakistan became a Muslim state on August 14, 1947. Earlier, Pakistan’s regions were the most Muslim-dominated areas in the East and West of India. After the independence struggle of Bangladesh in 1971, East Pakistan became the nation of Bangladesh.

Shruti Haasan’s birthday

Today is Shruti Haasan’s birthday (1986, January 28). She is the daughter of legendary Indian actor Kamal Haasan. Shruti Haasan made her silver screen debut in 2000 as a child actress in the film Hey Ram directed by her father Kamal. She acts in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil language films. She made her Tollywood entry with ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’. After that, she made a name for herself with the films Gabbar Singh, Balupu, Yevadu, Race Gurram, Srimanthudu and Crack.

In recent times, people’s personal information is being compromised as well as used without permission. For this reason, Data Protection Day is celebrated every year to make people aware of the danger its dangers.

Australian Open Men’s Singles

The 2017 defending champion Roger Federer defeated Croatian Marin Cilic 6–2, 6–7, 6–3, 3–6, 6–1 in the final to win the 2018 Australian Open men’s singles tennis title on January 28, 2018. Cilic became the first Croatian player to reach the Australian Open singles final.
