Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s Birthday

Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Indian political leader, TDP chief, former Chief Minister of United AP, and the first CM of Andhra Pradesh, was born in 1950 in Naravaripalle, Chittoor district. He began his political career by being elected as a Congress MLA from Chandragiri assembly seat in 1978. On September 10, 1981, he married NTR’s daughter Bhuvaneswari. Naidu joined the TDP after the 1983 elections. He rose to prominence within the party, eventually becoming Chief Minister on September 1, 1995. He served as Chief Minister from 1995 to 2004, then as Leader of the Opposition from 2004 to 2014. Subsequently, he served as Chief Minister of the divided state of Andhra Pradesh from 2014 to 2019, and he currently leads the opposition.

Adolf Hitler’s Birthday

German dictator Adolf Hitler was born in 1889 in Braunau am Inn, Austria-Hungary. He served as Chancellor of Germany from 1933 and as the dictator of Nazi Germany from 1934 until his death in 1945.

Koppula Eshwar’s Birthday

Telangana political leader, former minister, and current MLA Koppula Eshwar was born in 1959 in Kummarikunta village of Joolapalli mandal, Peddapalli district. He contested on behalf of the TDP in 1994 but later joined the TRS in 2001, actively participating in the ‘Telangana Movement’. Eshwar won the AP assembly election in 2004 on a TRS ticket and has since been re-elected as MLA in 2009, 2014, 2018, and 2023 respectively. He also served as a minister in KCR’s cabinet in 2019.

P. Shankar Rao’s Birthday

Congress party leader and former minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, P. Shankar Rao, was born in 1948. He was elected as Shadnagar MLA from Congress in 1983 and later served as MLA from 1999 to 2009. Shankar Rao also served as a minister in YSR’s Cabinet.

Anjala Zaveri’s Birthday

Famous actress Anjala Zaveri was born in 1972 in London, UK. She has appeared in numerous films in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Zaveri received the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in “Choodalani Vundi.”

Mamata Kulkarni’s Birthday

Indian actress Mamta Kulkarni was born in 1972 in Mumbai. She appeared in Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films. She gained notoriety after posing topless on the cover of Stardust magazine. Kulkarni acted in Telugu movies such as “Donga Police,” “Premashikharam,” and “Brahma.”

Death of MS Rama Rao

MS Rama Rao, the first playback singer in Telugu film history, passed away in 1992 in Hyderabad. His full name was Moparthi Sitarama Rao, born in 1921 in Moparru village, Guntur district. He gained fame for his lyrical rendition of Sundarakanda, a part of Ramayana.
