Subhas Chandra Bose Birth Anniversary

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was born on January 23, 1897. He was an Indian freedom fighter. While all the leaders like Gandhiji believed that independence would be achieved through non-violence, Bose believed that the British could be kicked out of the country through armed struggle and put it into practice. His death still remains a mystery.

Bal Thackeray’s Birth Anniversary

Bal Keshav Thackeray was the founder of the Shiv Sena party in Maharashtra. Born on 23 January 1926 and died on 17 November 2012, he is also known as Bala Saheb Thackeray. Although Shiv Sena became a national party, it did not take off in other states but was active in Maharashtra. His son Uddhav Thackeray also held the CM post recently.

Release date of computer programming language Java (1996)

In 1996, the first version of Java along with JDK 1.0 was released. Java became a popular programming language shortly after its release. It was originally developed by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems. It is the third most popular programming language in 2022.
