First Demonstration of a Television

Scottish inventor John Logie Baird demonstrated the world’s first live working television system on 27 January 1926. The TV was one of the major inventions of the 20th century. It was John Logie Baird who invented and showcased the first demonstration in London.

Telugu cinema’s legendary actress Jamuna (born August 30, 1936) passed away on this day in 2023. She acted in many films with NT Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1968 and the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1964.
